Smartly refurbished large pub perched on one of New Quay's steep streets which makes much of its Dylan Thomas connection. Stunning sea views from the large garden with children's play area. Dogs are allowed in the garden via the footbridge to the side of the pub. There is seating in the main bar where a large TV screen dominates when a big game is on. There is also a tiny and cosy room off the main bar with one table and a separate dining room. The food is of good value and quality. The guest ale is often MOHO from Mantle Brewery. There may only be Doom Bar on offer at quieter times but, as demand for real ale has increased here recently, the guest is on offer most of the year, and there may be up to three beers in busier months.
