John Y Gwas

Opening hours

This early 19th-century village tavern with its striking yellow and black livery attracts locals and tourists alike, with snugs, wood-burning stove, quality beer and cider and a warm welcome, especially for dogs. Two ales are generally offered and a wide variety of bottled beers and ciders is also available. A beer festival, hosting over 10 different ales, is held over August bank holiday weekend.
