A charming eighteenth-century village local with a welcoming atmosphere. Previously closed down by its owning pub group, it was bought out by a private couple in 2017. They have since, tastefully renovated it and have become popular with the locals by increasing the range of good beers on offer.
It has a traditional L-shaped main bar with TV and dartboard and also a small, comfortable lounge. Both rooms have real fires, and there is a small outside drinking area at the rear.
A quiz is held on Tuesdays.
