Newton Inn

Reopened in June 2018 after a major refurbishment, this is a comfortable and spacious village local, which retains separate lounge and bar areas in a semi-open plan layout, both served from one long bar. There are a few TV screens, which are used for sporting events. Food offerings are mainly a range of various pies or full meals in the evenings, with lunches on Sundays and Curry night on Thursdays. Four hand pumps are available, but normally only three are in use at any time. There are roadside tables available for outside drinking on a small patio area and a quiz held on Wednesdays.
