New Lodge Inn

A large pub dating back to the 19th century. Once busy serving the former coal mining community of Pontyberem. There is a public bar with pool table and a large dining area. After brief closure the pub is in the process of refurbishment. The present landlord has added a garden and children's play area. Real ale is sporadically available; it is planned to make it a regular feature.
