This 700th outlet for J.D. Wetherspoon has a coal theme (The Silkstone Seam stretched under Barnsley) even down to the black pendants in the lights and the secluded nature of the lighting. A central modern fireplace creates a warming effect in contrast to the long black bar where two permanent beers and up to three guest ales plus a real cider satisfy the client mix.
