Recently refurbished locals pub in a prominent position on a junction in the heart of the village. Reopened by a community group, who reintroduced real ale. More recently, the lease was taken over by an individual. The real ale range has now been increased to up to four and the guest beers are usually sourced from local breweries with Bradfield often featured. One handpump is often dedicated to a real cider. The pub has become very much a community hub and can get very lively. There is a popular Wednesday evening quiz. Street food is available from a van in the car park Friday evening.
