On the banks of the River Don, with a pleasant terrace overlooking the river. The interior is largely open plan but with a separate room to the right of the main entrance. Furnishings comprise a mix of comfortable sofas and armchairs together with more spartan canteen style tables and chairs. Three regular house beers from True North Brew Co (typically Best Bitter, and Polaris) are complemented by a changing selection of five guest ales, mostly from local breweries, like Abbeydale, Blue Bee and Neepsend. Live music is featured at weekends and there is a popular quiz on Monday night.
