Traditional cosy, three roomed real ale pub. Neepsend beers are brewed on a separate site but still form the core beer range here alongside a range of guest beers including a stout or porter. The Wellington was a Tennants pub for many years, then owned by Whitbread following the 1962 takeover, before becoming a free house in 1993 under the ownership of Neil and Sheila Clarke. They renamed the pub as the ‘Cask and Cutler,’ establishing the Port Mahon Brewery. They subsequently moved to France, Richard Appleton took on the pub in 2005. reinstating the old name. In 2016, pub passed to James Burkett as part of the local Sheaf Inns chain with the Blake and the Sheaf View.
