Cosy pub dating back to 1885, originally three cottages built in the 18th century that were then converted into a pub in the 19th century. Small bar, large dining room and games room with pool table and darts board. The pub was purchased from Thwaites by a local community society in Oct 2014 and is now run as a community pub and free house. Two handpumps offer a constantly changing range of beers from Acorn, Bradfield, Kelham Island, Stanceil, and White Rose. Delicious, good-value food served except on Mondays and Tuesdays.
