Duke of Leeds

Reopened on October 23rd, 2015, following a period of closure and extensive refurbishment. Once the coaching inn of the Duke of Leeds, this old-fashioned country inn is more than 300 years old. Now run by a mother and son. , there is a bar area and three other areas where drinks and/or meals can be taken. Outdoor drinking areas afford views of the village. Ample parking space is provided behind the pub. Handy for the railway station (Kiveton Bridge) and buses travel along the main Wales road, a few minute’s walk away. Popular for walkers, it is on the Five Churches walk. The extensive menu is freshly cooked to order. The beers may be sourced locally or from further afield. Local CAMRA Branch Rural Pub of the Year 2017. Pub has a face book page. The upstairs function room was converted into a snooker and pool room in Summer 2020.
