Red Deer

A genuine, traditional local in the heart of the city. The small frontage of the original three-roomed pub hides an open plan interior extended to the rear with a gallery seating area. As well as the impressive range of eight cask beers, including five guest ales (from SIBA and the Punch Finest Cask ranges), there is also a selection of continental bottled beers, a real cider from Westons, and a range of craft beers. Meals are served weekday evenings, and lunchtimes and evenings weekends. The popular quiz is held Tuesday night, there is live music on Saturday, and an upstairs function room is available for bookings.
