The Vaults opened on 19th December 2019 in the old Yorkshire Bank building on Market Street following a complete overhaul converting it into a stylish new town centre venue. It is an independent bar and bistro in the centre of town offering a variety of refreshments from coffees to premium beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. A variety of snacks, light meals, sandwiches, burgers and freshly made pizzas are served with daily food offers during the week and sharing cheeseboards available every Sunday. Large screen TVs show all the live sports action and there is outside seating at the front on the terrace and a function room upstairs catering for 60+ people. Cask ale is not currently served but will hopefully make a return in the near future.
