Halfway House

This large roadside inn has been turned into one large L-shaped room with a separate restaurant. Situated on the main A6 between Preston and Chorley, it gets its name for reputedly being exactly halfway between London and Glasgow. Food driven it feels more like a restaurant than a pub, although casual drinkers are welcomed.
