Situated on the London Road Church Brow roundabout, this former Boddington's pub is a true community local. It retains the original multi room layout with a bar area and lounge at the front, a games room with pool table and dartboard and a small lounge behind the bar. Be warned that the corridor leading to the rear rooms slopes steeply downwards. There is a small seating area on the paving at the front of the building. This cosy pub serves three guest beers usually from local micros and on Tuesday charges £2.20 a pint. It can get very busy at times, especially on Sundays.
