Substantial traditional village local. Plenty of seating adjacent to the bar, with a large lounge and small snug. At the rear an attractive patio leads to a bowling green and boules pitch. In summer the whole pub is bedecked with colourful hanging baskets and plants in the rear patio. The guest beers could be from anywhere, with local micros often featuring.
