Splendid stone built village pub of some character. Originally a 17th century coaching inn. Although principally a family pub with an emphasis on food, it has a cosy area with a bar to prop up. Annual sausage and cider festival. There is a comprehensive children's play area with Bouncy Castle, Football area with Goals and a maze. Pub quiz for local charities and a carvery Sunday, Wednesday and Friday 12-2 (early arrival recommended). The Island's premier Pub for cider when up to six may be available, beers are restricted to two in the winter. Breakfast served between 9am and 11am
