This excellent mock Tudor single bar street corner local in the middle of town has built a fine reputation for well kept ale, with up to three available from the Punch list, usually Finest Cask. Located opposite the Bus Station and Morrisons, this is very much a locals’ pub and retains the feel of the public bar. The pub has a good games following. A real gem.
