Situated in a busy high street and named after a local dignitary, this Wetherspoons pub has a large single bar with a family area at the rear (children welcome until 9.30pm). There are five guest hand-pumps, usually offering at least one beer from local breweries in Hampshire, W. Sussex & IOW, plus an occasional American Craft Beer. Meals are served until 11pm. Up to two Real Ciders are available. Well served by buses.
