This Punch Taverns outlet changed hands in 2020, when Ian and Jenny Readman left, although they still frequent the pub. The new licensees are Brian (Ian's brother) and Mel Taylor (one of the bar managers), and they have retained many of the staff. A major refurbishment took place in Autumn 2020 which included a new kitchen. Two real ales will be available when they re-open on 12th April 2020, although as trade recovers, they hope to build up to six.
