Modern family-friendly community pub also frequented by bikers. The present pub was built in the 1960s to replace a Victorian pub with the same name situated in what is now the car park. The current licensee took over as a stand-in in December 2009, but ended up by taking over on a permanent basis. The bar is divided into a games area with sports TV, a general bar area and a separate dining area. Live music takes place on Friday evenings.
