This fully-modernised riverside pub in the town centre dates back 400 years. The only untied pub in Fowey, it features Cornish ales from Sharps and Skinner's, and guest ales which change regularly from around the country but mainly focusing on Cornwall. Delightful river views from most of the wood-panelled main bar (where there is a pool table) and the separate conservatory room. Smoking is allowed at outside tables on the quay wall, which are popular year round and in a protected courtyard with gas heaters when needed. There is a wide range of meals offered daily. Seven rooms, all en-suite and most with river views, are also available. The pub has disabled access and there is a nappy-changing facility.
