The pub reopened in June 2018 after a major refurbishment. With the wooden floor, exposed beams, comfortable seats and the walls lined with old books it has something of the air of a gentleman's club. The menu looks interesting with items such as a meat platter featuring potted rabbit and venison alongside vegan 'steak'. The regular beers are complimented by a couple of guests from local breweries such as Barsham and Norfolk Brewhouse's Moon Gazer range. Interesting coffee, tea and cake cater for those who prefer an alternative. There is a play area for children at the rear and the Pig Shed motel at the back caters for those who wish to stay.
