Anvil Inn

This recently refurbished pub is a little off the beaten track, but worthwhile finding for its great homemade food. The bar is set in a large open plan area and has three handpumps for ever changing beers. Food is served in the bar area and a separate restaurant which also doubles as a function room when required. Regular pub quizzes, charity bingo nights and live music make this a popular venue. A small campsite at the rear of the pub is a welcome new feature. Closed Mondays.
