Just off the A148 King's Lynn to Fakenham Road, this attractive 17th-century pub offers guest ales from local breweries. It features open bar areas with a stylish and comfortable feel and has log fires in winter. Outside is an enclosed beer garden for summer drinking. There is an extensive menu serving excellent food, including one of the best Sunday roasts around. The unspoilt village provides pleasant walks and is close to Houghton Hall.
