Although the good-value home-cooked food is popular, this is at heart a village local rather than a gastro-pub. A former winner of the Norfolk CAMRA Pub of the Year, it offers cider alongside the beers on the bar. There is a pool table in the games room and a large garden with a play area. Live music and quiz nights are regular features. There are three letting rooms for those wishing to visit nearby attractions such as Sandringham or wanting to stay for the the annual beer festival.
