Popular locals' pub with two bars, a small cosy lounge and a larger public bar with a TV. Five beers are available, including a mild (rare for the area). Cider drinkers have a choice of ciders, normally including something from local cider producer Whin Hill. The local CAMRA Branch's Cider Pub of the Year in both 2020 and 2021. Live music is sometimes played in the public bar.
