Green Man

17th-century, picturesque village local in an old Fenland fruit growing area. The corrugated roof covers an original thatch. This busy, friendly pub provides a public bar with pool, darts and TV, and a warm, sociable lounge with a modern dining area extension serving good food. Has a good reputation among people in the village, many of whom are regulars in the pub. It is popular with both drinkers and diners. On Monday there is a fish & chip night. Holds fortnightly quiz nights. Outside, the garden has a children's play area and hosts occasional barbecues in summer. The Green Man is the nearest outlet to the brewery for the local Papworth Brewery beer, which is located in the next village.
