Robin Hood

A local town pub with a friendly atmosphere situated in a quiet corner of the town on the original main London road. Dating from around 1720, records from 1750 show that the pub had its own attached brewery, with access to the cellar from the rear of the building, rather than from the road in front. An original etched window for the Bar is still in place.
