This busy town-centre free house has up to six real ales and several real ciders focusing on micro-breweries and unusual beers including milds, porters and stouts. Good range of bottled ciders, UK and foreign bottled beers including Trappist ales. Beer festivals are held each year. Outside is a large, imaginatively-created covered and heated beer garden. Note that although this pub is owned by Greene King it does operate as a free house. Three Blind Mice beers are real ale served in KeyKeg.
