Old Black Lion

A grade II listed village pub dating from around 1700 with a welcoming atmosphere, low beamed ceilings and a series of small rooms. Note the two black lions standing guard at the front door. There is a good choice of home-made food available using locally sourced meats and vegetables where possible. The pub is located near to the A17 (eastbound) and situated on a quiet minor road running parallel.
