Priors Oven

Opening hours

The first micropub to be opened in Lincolnshire. The building was part of the Priory of Spalding and is believed almost 800 years old. Because of its shape it has always been known as The Oven or The Prior's Oven and has been used as Spalding Monastic Prison. Its more recent use was as a bakery and it became a pub in mid December 2013. As well as the ground floor bar with its vaulted ceiling, a stone spiral staircase leads up to a gin bar. Beer is also available in one-third pint measures.
