Excellent traditional village pub established in 1779. Bar, lounge and Restaurant downstairs with cocktail bar upstairs. Downstairs bar has five handpumps and an excellent selection of spirits including 130 whiskies plus a selection of canned and bottled craft beers. Gastropub food made wholly on the premises served throughout the pub. Annual beer festival held on late May bank holiday weekend. Pool table upstairs and board game night every Wednesday.
