Unspoilt, two room local, on CAMRA Regional Inventory of Historic Pub Interiors. The pub was built in around 1815, and still retains some old thatched outbuildings, which now house the gents’ toilets. Both bay-fronted rooms are small: a lounge to the left as you enter, and to the right the bar, with dart board and a collection of trophies. The rear garden is permanently covered by a marquee, so aunt sally is played under cover, and this large, heated area is available for hire, and is also the venue for the pub’s beer festivals. Sells up to 50 malt whiskies.
