Friendly and cosy village pub with a bar area and dining area. The bar has large scrubbed timber tables, pew seating, and candlelight, though the most striking feature is the amount of cricket memorabilia: the walls are covered in photographs and bats hang from every beam - bats of the cricket variety, of course. The food is good and the 3 ales tend to be more unusual ones from the Marston's list. Sadly there is no longer a bus service to the village.
