Jacob's Inn

Large pub on the green at lower Wolvercote, a short walk from the remains of Godstow nunnery. There is an attractive, mature garden with a children’s play area, and the indoor dining area is bolstered by a huge conservatory. Note the small parlour room next to the front bar area. Formerly the Red Lion, revamped in Summer 2013, complete with pigs and chickens in the garden. Five hand pumps on the bar.
