A traditional pub in a good location close to the centre of town. With pleasant ambiance a log fire on cold days, which adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The welcoming bar area is a good place to sample six real ales including beer brewed in the Brewery behind the pub. Bar snacks are limited, street food is available on summer weekends. There is a large outdoor seating area and a permanent marquee. The on site brewery operates to seasonal demand.
