Lovely historic 16th-century pub with an attractive riverside setting by the River Glyme, opposite the grounds of Blenheim Palace. A regular in the Good Beer Guide, you can enjoy a choice of four ales, two regulars and two ever-changing (often locally sourced). You can also enjoy fresh well-cooked meals and snacks at reasonable prices (booking or checking ahead advisable), sitting beside one of the ancient fireplaces and the (French) suit of armour. There is a terrace with seating for warmer days, from where you can watch the yearly Mock Mayor ceremony or the June Duck Race.
Aunt Sally is played with six teams hosted.
Families, walkers and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
