Duke of Marlborough

Large former coaching inn with rooms alongside the A44, north of Woodstock. There is a large log fire with surrounding comfy sofas at one end of the large bar area, most of which is set for dining but drinkers are welcome too with three or four ales to choose from including two from local brewers, Hook Norton. There is a more secluded restaurant area at the other end for more formal dining or parties. The Duke has a growing reputation for its gluten-free menu Regular folk nights are held and there is a grassed area of garden which caters for eating or drinking outside.
