Large, welcoming pub in the centre of the village. Inside, is a single bar, with dining areas and a formerly hidden inglenook fireplace. Parking is available at the side of the pub; the provision for tethering horses has now been replaced by secure bicycle storage. The garden hosts outdoor dining during the summer months. Eight boutique en-suite bedrooms are available. Locally sourced home-cooked food and four constantly changing hand pumped beers are available. Within a couple of miles of the Ridgeway, it provides a place of refreshment and rest for wayfarers.
