Extraordinary Hare

The Hare stands on the Roman Portway where it was formerly crossed by a once important north-south route off the Ridgeway. The Hare is a one bar, low-ceilinged pub with an attractive covered colonnade on three sides. There is a spacious garden outside and a large car park. The pub was closed for nearly five years but there has been a major external and internal refurbishment to a very high standard by Star Pubs and it is now open once more.
