Blueberry

Opening hours

Reopened on 8 July 2021 under the auspices of a new company Ten X Leisure - as at 14 July 2021 & 25 October 2021 it is unclear whether Ten X Leisure have purchased the pub from Farley & Peterson, the previous owners, or are operating it on their behalf. The real ale range may change. Accommodation should be offered for the first time (5 rooms). Description and facilities to be updated in due course (14 July 2021 & 25 October 2021). Previous description: Regrettably affected by the Covid-19 lockdowns - effectively closed on 5 November 2020. Put on the market to be sold as a pub in May 2021 (as at 28 May 2021). A 1930s roadhouse situated on the main road, which has been The Blueberry since the current owner, a small local pubco, purchased it in mid-2014. Refurbished throughout in 2014, there is a single bar extending to the restaurant area to the rear. The menu is reasonably-priced, with takeaway food as an option. Pizzas are a speciality, cooked in the pub's own wood-fired oven. There are four real ales, one of which is a guest.
