A family- and dog-friendly pub in rural South Oxfordshire that is particularly popular with walkers. The large bar and dining area are comfortable and cosy with a large open fire at one end. There are regular live music evenings and weekend music festivals in the summer. Outside are a large semi-enclosed 'beer hall' and garden with further seating and Aunt Sally. South Oxfordshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2017, 2019 and 2021. Runner-up in the Central Southern Region of CAMRA Pub of the Year 2019. Closed Mondays, except for monthly quiz night.
