Red Lion

The Red Lion is a traditional half-timbered thatched inn dating from the 16th century situated in a quiet village a short distance south from the A4130 between Didcot and Wallingford. The comfortable bar features wood beams and exposed brick inglenook fireplace with log burner, and leads to the restaurant area off to one side, the latter was refurbished in early 2021. The beers are usually from local breweries and a good-quality seasonal menu is served. South Oxfordshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2009 and 2012, and Pub of the Season for Autumn 2020.
