Commercial Hotel

The Commercial was the first pub in Bottom Mossley. For a time it was a stopping place on the coach route between Lancashire and Yorkshire (until the railways came). Nowadays it is more likely to be a stopping point for rail ale trail enthusiasts. The refurbished open-plan interior has a central bar. A small stage on the lounge side allows for a disco or live act on Saturdays and where the games room was, is a secluded (?) lounge.
