Friendly, Family pub in the centre of the village welcoming everyone from students to OAPs. Good public transport links with Oldham, Manchester and Huddersfield. Sky sports, HD and 3D on large screen TV. Pub now has 4 hand pulls serving 4 beers but the number in use can vary All exterior signage has been changed to "The Commie". The large streetside beer "garden" has no garden, but plenty of tables. Breakfast now served from 10am daily. Food is mainly pizza and burgers.
