Traditional country inn, originally a farmhouse built in 1681 and first licensed in 1840. Located at the foot of the Pennines with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside, the inn has a warm, friendly atmosphere, serving guest beers from Pictish and other local micro-breweries. There is a full a la carte menu served in the restaurant every evening and lunchtimes Friday to Sunday. Seven en-suite bedrooms make this an ideal base to explore the local area. The smoking area outside is covered.
