Hare & Hounds

Originally built in the 17th century as a farmhouse, this large and comfortable ex-Whitbread pub is now owned by Thwaites. The refurbished spacious semi-open plan lounge, complete with its original massive stone fireplace and open fire, faces towards the bar. There is a small sports room with SKY/BT sports and a dart board, and a large separate dining room to the left, the latter constructed in a former barn and cottage. Outside there is a terraced beer garden and a large resurfaced car park.
