Weavers Arms

A 'locals' pub, situated off the main road, opposite Centre Vale Park. Inside, there's a low beamed ceiling and a wall extending into the centre of the pub, the bar facing a pool table area on one side and a cosy seating area with cottage style windows on the other. The stone fronted bar has a stone flagged standing area, the margins in the bar-back decorated with bunches of grapes in relief. Often lively, popular with young people and sport's supporters, this pub has occasional live music, discos or karaoke on Fridays and a weekly quiz. You can't miss the football games; the large screen TV is supplemented by a smaller one.
