George Tavern

No real ale. Loud, bright town centre pub with many photoes of old Oldham. The pub serves food, which is popular with local students. There is a pool table in the lower drinking area. The pub has had a number of names. Before being called the George it was the Brewery Tavern & prior to that it was the Miners Arms as it was closed to Jackson's Pit, a coal mine Reopened 4/7/2020
